There are some well-designed sites that can help you answer those questions. My favorites are: Craftcult, Craftopolis, and Craftcount. I will briefly talk about those today with going technical. If you learn a couple of new tricks then I have done me job!

Craft cult has no active facebook account, twitter/craftcult

Here is Craft Cult’s Menu choices:

This site is very interactive. Craftcult is a menu-driven site.

• Very easy to use,
• Provides tons of important info on your shop’s traffic,
• Find out if your latest treasury or shop’s item made it to the front page,
• Make widgets about your shop or treasury and post it on your Blog or website, [Make your shop widget],
• Great place to advertise. You can find multiple testimonials. Read the one below.

One of the great features of this site is that you can enquire not just about your own shop but any other shops. It simplifies the Etsy treasury system instead of clipping page after page to see if one of your items was featured at any time. You get your answer immediately.

TRY IT with the HEART-O-MATIC featured tool

1)                  Go to Heart-o-matic featured tool,

2)                 Enter your user name,

3)                 See if you were featured in a treasury that made it to Front Page in the past 24 hours, if not go to 4),

4)                 Click on “The Vault” for past FP features,

5)                 Click on “Search for member”, enter user name again,

6)                 If you get a result, you can make either a live slide show or a widget.

In short, stats on your shop hearts are important and it will help you clean out products that are not getting any love. You might realize that you have to improve on the style and quality of your pictures. Remember the customer make a purchase decision only based on the picture. So it is very important to have great pictures.

Craftopolis not active on facebook nor twitter

Craftopolis is a very practical tool that every Etsy seller should use.

• Gives you a report on your TAGS,
• Find out who’s loving your Etsy shop and items!
•  See when your items are expiring so you’ll never forget again!
• Edit multiple listing at once with the Edit Express tool,
• Promote your shop.

Tips on Tag report:

First try to get your Yesterday’s report. Study your results and find the pattern. Look at “page found”.

“Page Found On” is simply what page somebody found your item on when doing a search. When someone does a search for something specific on Etsy, they usually get several hundred pages of results. This tells you what page number they found your item on.

Good to know because if one item is found often and it show up in page 45 in the search. You might want to RENEW your item closer to the weekend so more shoppers can find it and possibly make a sale.
